Trifonov erweist sich hier schon mit 23 Jahren auch als der ideale Schumann-Interpret: die Verbindung stürmischer Aufschwünge mit subtllsten Märchenträumereien - "Florestan und Eusebius". Und da steht hoffentlich noch viel auf dem Programm...!

Lui è profondamente religioso (cristiano ortodosso). Io sono un sacerdote cattolico di Bologna e voglio qui riportare un personale ricordo con lui. Molti anni fa ormai Egli, agli esordi della sua carriera, tenne il suo concerto nella Chiesa di santo Stefano in Bologna. In realtà avrebbe dovuto suonare nel chiostro del monastero di Santo Stefano ma siccome minacciava pioggia il concerto fu dirottato, appunto, in Chiesa. Fu allora che il Maestro Trifonov decise di togliere dal programma della serata il Mephisto Waltz di Liszt, perchè, mi disse, "non mi sento di suonare il Mephisto Waltz in Chiesa!".

peccato che, a mio avviso, nella ultima variazione, si perda, dal punto di vista del tempo; è come se avesse fretta di finire, un pò di cenere su una rosa di esecuzione

Trifonov est magnifique ! Il y a deux soirs, j'ai eu plaisir à l'entendre jouer les Variations de Rachmaninov pour une pièce de Corelli. C'était absolument incroyable. Le public l'a acclamé et applaudi pendant plus de quinze minutes.

She is "Incredible"! playing this difficult piece for her looks like a walk in the park!! In my opinion one of the best contemporary pianist alive today!!!

Khatia, insuperable!.

I've played a few of Chopin's pieces, but never in a hundred years would it sound so beautiful as her renditions. And she's as lovely as her performances on her many recordings on my playlist. There are only 3 or 4 pianists I've seen on U-tube with her level of virtuosity.

It is a Born pianist no questionnaires about this bus she is not the best musician,chopin deserves a more hongerstakers interpretation.this interpretation is freedom without a strictness of rhytmique and form ,therfore it is only fantastic pianoplaying and coulering but not chopin
